Kage Logistics Ltd. is seeking a reliable and skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a qualified driver to operate our trucks and transport goods and materials across the country. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of road safety and regulations, as well as excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Safely: Operate our trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and Unload: Load and unload goods and materials at designated locations, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure our trucks are in good working condition.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with our dispatch team and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience as a truck driver.
- Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement and a valid Class 1 or A Driver's License.
- Personal Qualities: Flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
This is a permanent position with a 45-hour workweek. The work language is English.
