Kage Logistics Ltd. is seeking a reliable and skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a qualified driver to operate our trucks and transport goods and materials across the country. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of road safety, be able to work independently, and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities- Drive Safely: Operate our trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods at designated locations, ensuring that all cargo is secure and properly handled.
- Perform Vehicle Inspections: Regularly inspect our trucks to ensure that they are in good working condition, and perform any necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to our dispatch team, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with our schedules.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of our trucks' maintenance, fuel consumption, and cargo information.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience as a truck driver.
- Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement and a valid Class 1 or A Driver's License.
- Personal Qualities: Flexibility, reliability, and a strong team player attitude.
This is a permanent position with a 45-hour workweek. The work language is English.
