Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Kage Logistics Ltd. is seeking a reliable and skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified driver to operate our trucks and transport goods and materials across the country. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of road safety and regulations, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Safely: Operate our trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods at designated locations, ensuring that all cargo is secure and properly handled.
  • Perform Vehicle Inspections: Regularly inspect our trucks to ensure that they are in good working condition, and perform any necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to our dispatch team, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with our schedules.
  • Record Hours and Fuel Consumption: Accurately record our hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, to ensure that our operations are running efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience as a truck driver.
  • Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement and a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 45 hours per week. The work language is English.
