Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Bandstra Transportation Systems Ltd is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from our trucks, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and accounted for.
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Operate and maintain our fleet of trucks, performing regular inspections and maintenance to ensure that our vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Oversee Vehicle Condition: Regularly inspect our trucks to ensure that they are in good working condition, and perform any necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Communicate with our dispatch team to receive and relay information about our routes, cargo, and any issues that may arise.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of our cargo, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Driver's License: A valid Class 1 or A driver's license is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and gain experience as a long haul truck driver.
