Job Summary
The Vice President, Technology is a key member of the Executive Team, responsible for providing strategic technology leadership to the Senators Sports and Entertainment group. This role oversees the planning, design, installation, integration, and sustainment of arena and business technology infrastructure and solutions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a best-in-class IT operations plan for SSE, ensuring a secure, resilient, and effective enterprise computing and communications environment.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of IT systems, software applications, and communications infrastructure.
- Lead the development and execution of cybersecurity strategies for the company, ensuring the availability and integrity of mission-critical applications and technology.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to oversee all technology projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Lead and mentor the technology team towards a service-oriented, customer-focused culture that supports ongoing operations to drive efficiency, quality, customer experience, and growth.
- Liaise with and manage external Technology partners & suppliers, ensuring alignment with SSE's strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technology or business-related discipline, and minimum 10 years of progressive technology leadership roles.
- Experience creating and executing a strategic technology vision for businesses, including the development and oversight of tactical details while maintaining a clear view of the big picture.
- In-depth understanding of all aspects of corporate technology, data networking, telephony, and information security.
- Proven record of developing and maintaining strong partnerships and collaborative spirit with peers in all lines of the business.
- A demonstrated strong and supportive leadership style, with excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively translate complex technology concepts into accessible business terms.
