Position: Merchandise Associate
In the role of Merchandise Associate, your primary responsibility will be to craft an extraordinary shopping experience through innovative and visually appealing product arrangements, facilitating a seamless shopping journey for our customers and significantly contributing to our sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement all new merchandise on the sales floor according to established plan-o-grams.
- Creatively manage stock levels on the sales floor to enhance customer sales in alignment with Sporting Life's visual merchandising standards.
- Assist management in planning and executing seasonal merchandise transitions.
- Collaborate with the store team to ensure excellence in service, store readiness, and adherence to safety practices, as well as compliance with Sporting Life policies.
- Actively engage in team tasks to deliver a comprehensive experience for our customers, including maintaining store cleanliness, merchandising, restocking products, and managing inventory.
Qualifications
- A passion for fashion, sports, and a healthy, active lifestyle.
- Minimum of 1 year of merchandising experience in a retail setting.
- An engaging personality with enthusiasm for sales and creating exceptional customer experiences.
- A commitment to continuous learning and product knowledge development.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Capability to lift up to 30 lbs.
