Job Summary

The University of Ottawa is seeking a highly qualified Part-Time Professor to teach a course on Enterprise Architecture. As a Professor, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a rigorous planning methodology that harmonizes and integrates the needs of society, management, and engineering in both business and government.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a course on Enterprise Architecture that addresses the design of enterprise business architectures and the derivation of supporting information systems infrastructure using specialized modeling tools.
  • Apply the TOGAF standard from the OpenGroup standards body to derive a comprehensive understanding of enterprise architecture.
  • Provide students with the necessary background to apply for international certification.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of course subject matter, demonstrated by having taught similar or related courses, or demonstrated by relevant work experience.
  • Applicants must also be licensed as a Professional Engineer.
  • Regular applicants must have a doctorate and it should be in a field related to the course, if not, they must have a relevant work experience in a field related to the course, after having obtained their Ph.D.
