Job Description

Occupational Therapist - Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at St. Joseph's Care Group in Thunder Bay, ON.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality rehabilitative care to clients in an interprofessional team setting.
  • Work closely with the team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to promote client independence and functional ability.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Occupational Therapists.
  • Experience working in an inter-professional environment.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and teaching skills.
  • Demonstrated regular attendance at work.

Condition of Employment:

  • This position is conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated.
  • Offers of employment made to external candidates are conditional upon providing proof of COVID-19 vaccination or valid medical exemption.
