About the Role
CarePartners is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Rehabilitation Team in the North Bay and Sturgeon Falls Areas. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our clients in achieving their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional assessment and treatment of patients in the community and in their homes
- Develop and maintain effective care plans in collaboration with the care team
- Work with patients to set and achieve time-specific, measurable goals and outcomes
- Provide guidance and support to Community Support Workers in the field
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized university
- Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Proven computer skills and ability to work with scheduling systems
- Strong assessment skills and ability to participate in effective treatment programs
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- French language skills are an asset
