Job Title: Risk Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Risk Coordinator to join our Corporate Services team and support our construction operations by applying your expertise to various business initiatives. As a member of this collaborative team, you can expect a safe, diverse and inclusive environment, and ongoing learning and career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete risk assessments, including financial analysis, of potential subcontractors to ensure they have the experience, operational capacity and financial resources required to work with Graham.
  • Support the administration of our subcontractor default insurance program.
  • Maintain strong relationships and open communication with internal project teams to promote awareness of risk management practices and procedures.
  • Work closely with corporate supply chain team to coordinate prequalification process and requirements.
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with subcontractors with a strong emphasis on confidentiality, tact and diplomacy.
  • Respond to questions from internal and external sources regarding the prequalification and approval process.
Requirements
  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in risk management, supply chain management, accounting, finance or similar business-related field.
  • CRM professional designation an asset.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in risk management, surety underwriting, finance or accounting, commercial management, or supply chain management role.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain standards of accuracy under tight deadlines.
  • Previous knowledge of financial statements and financial analysis an asset.
  • Construction industry experience considered an asset.
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office Suite.
