Software Development Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Lead to join our team at MeridianTech Consulting Inc. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading the development, installation, integration, and operation of computer-based systems.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure the successful delivery of software development projects.
- Project Management: Coordinate and manage software development projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Team Collaboration: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, quality assurance engineers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Requirements Gathering: Collect and document user requirements to ensure that software solutions meet business needs.
- System Development: Develop process and network models to optimize system architecture and design, develop, and test computer-based systems.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Assess and troubleshoot applications software to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in technical leadership and project management.
- Skills: Strong technical skills in software development, including programming languages, software development methodologies, and system architecture.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
