About the Role

Guidewire is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Design and develop high-quality software solutions using Core Java and JavaScript.
  • Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using TeamCity and Kubernetes.
  • Lead the development of Object-Oriented Design principles and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers to help them grow in their careers.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Agile development principles and methodologies.
  • Design and implement REST and gRPC-based APIs.
  • Build and maintain microservices on cloud service platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Lead technical design and implementation of features from inception to release.
  • Ensure high-quality products and maintain a healthy codebase.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of software development experience, with 1+ years of team leadership experience.
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
