About the Role

We are seeking a skilled hairstylist to join our team at First Choice Haircutters. As a hairstylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality haircuts and styling services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and serve clients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Hairstyling: Cut, trim, and style hair according to client preferences and instructions.
  • Shampooing and Conditioning: Shampoo and condition clients' hair using high-quality products.
  • Coloring and Chemical Services: Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair.
  • Receptionist Duties: Perform receptionist duties, including answering phones and handling client inquiries.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the hairstyling industry.
  • Certifications: Hairstylist License.
Work Environment
  • Work Setting: Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, and standing for extended periods.
