Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SME Pizza Ontario Ltd. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities
Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
Estimate and Manage InventoryEstimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
Manage Customer ServiceEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain Records and ReportsMaintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Work EnvironmentNoisy, odours, wet/damp, hot, and outdoors.
Work SettingFood service establishment.
Physical DemandsFast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding.
Personal SuitabilityClient focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.
