Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Building Maintenance Technician to join our team at 3D Property Management. This is a permanent position that offers a stable work environment and the opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of our properties.

Educational Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 1 to 2 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct adjustments and minor repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems while coordinating with tradespeople for significant repairs.
  • Engage contractors for maintenance and repair tasks within the facility.
  • Perform safety and security inspections regularly.
  • Assist in moving heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repairs.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
Certifications and Skills
  • Possession of a Building Operator/Superintendent Certificate is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD is advantageous.
Experience and Background

Experience in civil engineering or related fields is considered an asset.

Safety and Transportation
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Basic security clearance and a driver's validity license check are required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work under pressure and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as part of job duties.
  • Must be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
