We are seeking a dedicated Building Maintenance Technician to join our team at 3D Property Management. This permanent position offers a stable work environment with a commitment to excellence in property upkeep.
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years
- Experience: Previous experience is considered an asset
- Conduct adjustments and minor repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, while coordinating with tradespersons for significant repairs.
- Engage contractors for maintenance and repair tasks within the property.
- Perform routine safety and security inspections.
- Assist in moving heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Carry out other general maintenance tasks, including painting and drywall repairs.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Certificates: Building operator/superintendent certificate and building operator certificate are preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD is advantageous.
- Related Experience: Background in civil engineering is beneficial.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and undergo a driver's validity license check.
- Basic security clearance is required.
- Access to a personal vehicle is necessary.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Must be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Ability to lift weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Must have own tools for maintenance tasks.
- Dependability and reliability are essential.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Flexibility, initiative, and sound judgment are important.
- Must be organized and detail-oriented.
