About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Campus Support. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients, ensuring their IT infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot campus IT infrastructure, including servers, internet, computers, and peripherals.
  • Provide high-level technical support for institution hardware and software to ensure seamless campus operations.
  • Support the day-to-day operation of the Campus Support head office.
  • Deliver instruction that meets module and program objectives as set out in the curriculum.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education and a minimum of one year of experience in IT/network administration or a related field.
  • Strong networking knowledge, troubleshooting aptitude, and familiarity with Windows, PC, and Mac operating systems, hardware, and software applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to convey information simply and efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates and encourages high standards of behavior, professionalism, and commitment to quality service.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Network Engineer (CNE) or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) designation is an asset.
  • Certification such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar is an asset.
  • Experience with remote support tools and techniques.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and procedures.
