Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Operations Manager to join our team at the National Arts Centre. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the bar operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and staff supervision.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the restaurant team to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and control bar inventory, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary diploma in hospitality or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in bartending or a related role.
  • Smart Serve certification.
  • Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in both official languages.
