We are seeking a highly skilled Bar Manager to join our team at POA TIKI BAR. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the bar, ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices to align with the restaurant budget
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including staff schedules and inventory management
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Conduct performance reviews and implement performance improvement plans
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation, including social media and promotions
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Manage events and functions, including weddings and private parties
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Smart Serve certification
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and point of sale systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
