We are seeking an Engineering & Automation Strategy Manager for our operations, responsible for the following:

  • Project Leadership: Oversee the design and development interface between IT Systems (OSI-PI/MES/Maximo) and Operational Technology (OT) systems.
  • Infrastructure Development: Design, implement, and maintain a robust infrastructure network (MCN), including hardware and software for automation systems that facilitate the integration of information flows between field process control systems.
  • Integration Support: Assist in the future integration of Process Control Systems (PCS) with OT Core Systems.
  • Project Reference Point: Serve as the primary contact for automation projects within the facility and liaise with international teams to share local insights and contribute to global project development.
  • System Development: Ensure the effective development, operation, and maintenance of information and automation systems within your areas of expertise, crafting solutions that optimize cost and performance while adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and support cross-functional teams in the study, design, implementation, and functional verification of automation systems, ensuring compliance with corporate and industry standards.
  • Project Monitoring: Regularly assess project progress regarding costs, risks, timelines, and outcomes, maintaining communication with relevant company functions.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Management and Automation Engineering or a related field.

Experience in the analysis, design, and implementation of SCADA systems within the pharmaceutical sector, utilizing Visual Basic technology and SQL Server Database.

Project Management Skills:

  • Cost control and resource management.
  • Supplier relationship management.
  • Preparation of GMP documentation.

Proficient in managing and coordinating Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and PLC-SCADA systems associated with production equipment, including fermenters, bioreactors, utilities, and automated machinery.

Experience in drafting documentation such as RAS, URS, SFS, NDS, and HDS, as well as writing and executing FAT/SAT and IQ/OQ qualification protocols.

Skilled in Deviation Management and CAPA processes in collaboration with Quality Assurance and Production teams to resolve known issues.

Familiarity with quality validation directives and methodologies, including CFR21 part 11, GAMP, and S88 standards.
