The ideal candidate will engage in the design, execution, and upkeep of automated systems while also pinpointing and enacting process enhancements to elevate operational efficiency and productivity. This position necessitates involvement in various high-stakes and time-sensitive projects alongside a diverse team.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams throughout the organization to enhance the efficiency and productivity of manufacturing operations.

  • Contribute to the design and deployment of automated systems.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to discover automation opportunities and foster continuous improvement.
  • Diagnose and manage the maintenance of automation systems.
  • Oversee the creation of documentation related to automation systems.
  • Educate personnel on the operation of automated systems.
  • Lead initiatives for business process reengineering to optimize operations, including the design and rollout of a warehouse management system.
  • Engage in the redesign or enhancement of existing machinery and production lines to maximize efficiency and safety.
  • Evaluate plant floor activities and identify avenues for business process improvement through automation or alternative strategies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in engineering, automation, or a related discipline, or substantial relevant experience.
  • Proven experience with automation systems in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-driven with robust leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
