Job Summary

Motorway Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd is seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with commercial transport truck systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including truck-trailer systems.
  • Inspection and Testing: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Quality Control: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance service on commercial transport trucks.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
Work Environment

As a Truck Mechanic at Motorway Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and manual dexterity. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a team environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, manual dexterity, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, dependability, flexibility, judgement, reliability, and team player.
