Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Motorway Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair complex issues with truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems.
  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions, and test repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, advising clients on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, flexible, and a team player.
