About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Torque Tech Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our commercial transport vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of commercial transport trucks to identify and repair or replace faulty parts and components.
  • System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of truck systems, including fuel, electrical, and braking systems.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, and implement effective solutions to resolve problems.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all repairs and maintenance work meets the highest standards of quality, and adhere to manufacturer specifications.
  • Communication and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of work performed, and communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless workflow.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, and perform tasks that require hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Dependability, reliability, and a strong team player attitude.
