Key Responsibilities- Contract Management: The Support Services Manager will be responsible for the financial accountability and compliance with standards established by Aramark, regulatory agencies, and clients.
- Department Leadership: The Manager will lead departments of all services managed, including food and facilities services.
- Compliance and Safety: The Manager will ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards.
- Client Relations: The Manager will interact with Client Management and maintain effective client and customer relations at all levels of client organization.
- Employee Management: The Manager will provide overall direction and manage performance for all Food Service Supervisors and front-line employees.
- Operational Direction: The Manager will direct, staff, and train food service department regarding food presentation, quality, cost control, and cash handling.
- Contract Obligations: The Manager will ensure compliance with all contract obligations.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5+ years progressive experience managing operations with financial and operational responsibility for the sites/departments.
- Skills: Computer savvy with Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, and support staff.
- Desirable Qualifications: Red Seal chef or experience with oversight of a Food operation. Basic Housekeeping Experience or full EVS experience. Menu management, balancing a budget, and working within assigned operational costs/budget.
