Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager, this role is pivotal in providing HR services across the organization. The incumbent will handle team member inquiries and modifications while offering essential administrative support. This position ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, fosters a motivating environment, and contributes to a safe and inclusive workplace for all employees.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manages HR documentation and maintains site-specific records
  2. Drafts internal communications as required
  3. Oversees and updates lists of compliance requirements
  4. Facilitates site orientation sessions
  5. Handles employment verification inquiries
  6. Coordinates Workers' Compensation Claims for accuracy
  7. Assists in recruitment efforts, including participating in job fairs, interviewing candidates, conducting reference checks, and recommending candidates
  8. Provides HR guidance to team members and site supervisors; escalates issues to the HR Manager when necessary
  9. Collaborates with other locations regarding team member transfers and documentation
  10. May represent the employer at Occupational Health and Safety meetings
  11. Communicates effectively with relevant operational departments
  12. Builds strong relationships with guests and team members
  13. Ensures adherence to licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and other legal requirements
  14. Performs additional duties as assigned
Education and Experience
  1. High School Diploma; post-secondary education in Human Resources or a relevant combination of education and experience
  2. HR Certification is advantageous
  3. At least 2 years of experience in HR or administrative support
  4. Proven ability to meet internal and external customer expectations through effective communication
  5. Proficient in MS Office; experience with JDE or HRIS is a plus
  6. Must be able to obtain a Gaming License

This position operates in a standard office and gaming environment, with potential for non-traditional hours and some travel requirements.
