We are seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to design and implement both exploratory and automated testing processes to guarantee product excellence. In this role, you will report to the QA Lead and collaborate closely with development and product teams to formulate testing strategies and create comprehensive test plans.

As a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and constructive feedback
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects thoroughly
  • Creating detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing
  • Designing, developing, and executing automation scripts utilizing Restful APIs and Selenium
  • Developing and implementing testing processes for new and existing product features to fulfill client requirements
  • Collaborating with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to ascertain system requirements
  • Monitoring quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts
  • Keeping abreast of new testing tools and methodologies

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Over five years of experience in a QA role
  • Demonstrated experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test
  • Proven track record in software quality assurance
  • In-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience with web application testing and Continuous Integration practices
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Experience in creating automation frameworks using tools like Selenium with Python
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
  • Technical proficiency with software programs, including, but not limited to, Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), Office 365, etc.
