Job Title: QA Tester - Pega Specialist

Job Summary:

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled QA Tester - Pega Specialist to join our team. As a QA Tester - Pega Specialist, you will be responsible for performing test design and test execution of simple to complex UAT test cases, creating test plans and test strategies, and working closely with development teams to resolve defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Test Design and Execution: Perform test design and test execution of simple to complex UAT test cases, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
  2. Test Planning and Strategy: Create test plans and test strategies to ensure optimal use of testing time while adhering to UAT policies, standards, procedures, and best practices.
  3. Defect Resolution: Work closely with development teams to resolve defects and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  4. Test Automation: Utilize applicable Test Management tools (JIRA, Confluence) to automate testing processes and improve efficiency.
  5. Project Coordination: Assess and schedule the release of projects into the UAT environment, execute complex test plans, and manage the execution of testing, coordinating resources, people, and environments on a daily basis to meet the specific requirements for a project.
  6. Team Collaboration: Transfer application and process expertise to more junior analysts within UAT, provide hands-on training on systems, hardware, environment, product, standards, and methodology to test team members, and coach, motivate, and provide feedback on department and project objectives, conflict resolution, and team building to assigned staff.
  7. Technical Expertise: Maintain a thorough and current understanding of a broad range of assigned banking applications, UAT code configuration, system integration, environment resources, and code delivery process, and provide technical advice to development teams and external suppliers on integration of specific applications within the UAT environment.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of QA/QC Analyst Experience
  2. 2+ years' experience testing with PEGA
  3. 5+ years' demonstrated experience performing test design and test execution of simple to complex UAT test cases (functional, regression, integration)
  4. Demonstrated experience creating test plans/test strategies
  5. 5+ years' experience in Agile + Waterfall environments

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  1. Experience performing estimates
  2. Experience from FIs, banking an asset
  3. Experience with JIRA, Confluence

Soft Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Able to work autonomously, requires minimal supervision

Education:

Bachelor's or equivalent working experience

2nd - with Senior Manager Digital Process Automation COE - they will be working on her team/with resource that reports to her – HM is overall manager for the team - culture fit– 30 minutes
