Key Responsibilities:

  1. Document and Report Defects: You will be responsible for documenting website defects and reporting them to software developers and project managers using a bug tracking system.
  2. Test System Modifications: You will test system modifications to prepare for implementation and ensure that they meet the required standards.
  3. Identify and Analyze Problems: You will identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
  4. Database Management: You will create or maintain databases of known test defects.
  5. Test Scheduling: You will plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
  6. Software Documentation: You will review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.
  7. Business Function Knowledge: You will possess the ability to learn business functions of the organization and use that information to create software test plans.
  8. Data Analysis: You will be able to independently analyze extensive data, identify discrepancies and inconsistencies, and recommend a course of corrective action.
  9. Infrastructure Familiarity: You will be able to learn and become familiar with the company's development and QA environments and infrastructure.
  10. Testing Solutions: You will be able to design, write, test, and document efficient testing solutions to meet customer needs.
  11. Project Management: You will be able to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
  12. Software Testing Tools: Experience with software testing tools is a plus.
