We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transportation Engineer to join our Vancouver Island team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide design and construction services for a variety of project types across Vancouver Island.
- Collaborate with internal and external project team members and stakeholders to facilitate project requirements.
- Prepare engineering base plans, designs, drawings, and cost estimates for municipal engineering projects.
- Develop concepts and designs using Civil 3D, CAD, and other computer-aided drafting programs.
- Inspect construction of municipal engineering projects.
- Provide input into project budgeting and scheduling.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or Engineering Design Technology with registration (or eligible for registration) with AScT or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and eligible for registration as an EIT with EGBC.
- ~3+ years' experience in municipal or transportation engineering related fields.
- ~ Working knowledge of Civil 3D/AutoCAD.
- ~ Transportation and/or Municipal engineering design experience.
- Experience in large and small-scale projects.
- Flexible working hours.
