About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SEO Specialist to join our team at Digital Shift. As an SEO Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital landscape and driving measurable results.

As a key member of our digital marketing team, you will be responsible for deploying your analytical skills and deep knowledge of SEO practices to amplify our clients' online presence and ensure their content reaches and resonates with their target audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Targeted Keyword Research: Utilize tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Keyword Planner, and Moz to identify relevant keywords and phrases.
  • Perform Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitors' content gaps and areas for enhancement to inform our SEO strategy.
  • Optimize Web Pages: Employ advanced on-page SEO techniques to optimize web pages crafted by our content team.
  • Monitor SEO Metrics: Track key SEO metrics such as organic traffic, conversion rates, and time spent on page.
  • Produce Performance Reports: Create reports on performance metrics, aligning them with our SEO goals and benchmarks.
  • Implement Local SEO and Link-Building Strategies: Manage backlinks to boost online authority and implement local SEO strategies.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with SEO Trends: Continuously update your skills with new tools and practices to stay ahead in the industry.
Requirements
  • 2-3+ Years of Experience: Solid experience as an SEO Analyst or in a similar role within digital marketing.
  • SEO Tool Expertise: Strong grasp of keyword research, XML sitemaps, and webmaster tools.
  • Search Engine Algorithm Understanding: Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and best SEO practices.
  • Analytical Skills: Proven analytical skills to interpret data and make informed, strategic decisions.
  • Google Business Profile Optimization: Experience with Google Business Profile optimization and familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and advanced SEO techniques is preferred.
  • Relevant Education: A degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, or a relevant field.
