Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at New Minas Irving Big Stop. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage offerings meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
- Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing inventory, controlling costs, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Food and Beverage: Manage the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Certifications: First Aid Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, CPR Certificate, Safe Food Handling certificate, and Food Safety Certificate.
- Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
The Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of customer interaction. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
