Position Overview - Sales Development Executive

As a pivotal entity within the Volkswagen Group of America, the Sales Development Executive serves as the primary liaison between Volkswagen Financial Services (VWFS) and its network of Dealers. This role is fundamentally consultative, focusing on the enhancement of retail financing, leasing, protection plans, loyalty programs, commercial finance, and remarketing partnerships with Audi and Volkswagen Dealers across the designated region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and propose innovative sales strategies to Dealers by recognizing performance opportunities and revenue shortfalls, aimed at optimizing their operational efficiency.
  • Educate Dealers on the operational prerequisites of existing retail programs to ensure they fully leverage all available sales initiatives.
  • Facilitate training sessions for Dealers concerning retail financing, leasing, protection plans, portfolio management, and essential business processes.
  • Address and assist Dealers with inquiries related to all VWFS products and programs, ensuring high levels of Dealer satisfaction and customer fulfillment.
  • Maintain up-to-date communication records of key Dealership contacts through Salesforce, ensuring a centralized communication database accessible to all VWFS stakeholders.

Qualifications

Educational Background

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is required.

Experience Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in the automotive or financial services sectors.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of experience in business-to-business sales or territory management, with direct exposure to the automotive industry.
  • A valid Driver's License is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated consultative selling skills.
  • Proven capability to influence and drive change within a dealership environment.
  • Strong understanding of retail and commercial credit processes.

Work Schedule

This position requires 50-60% travel, contingent upon workload and requests.
