Nutritionist/Registered Dietitian Wanted for Part-Time Day Position in a Residential Care Facility

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nutritionist/Registered Dietitian to join our team in a part-time day position at our residential care facility. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments of residents to identify their nutritional needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Develop and implement nutrition education programs for residents, families, and staff to promote healthy eating habits and disease prevention.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care plans and provide input on nutrition-related issues.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nutrition policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide nutrition counseling and support to residents and their families to promote optimal health and well-being.
- Collaborate with the food services team to ensure that meals are nutritious, appealing, and meet the dietary needs of residents.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure that nutrition services are meeting regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field.
- Registration with the Ordre professionnel des diététistes du Québec.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a residential care facility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
We offer a competitive salary range of $27.62 to $48.94 per hour, depending on experience. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters professional growth and development.
