Our Profile

We offer various permanent or replacement positions, full-time or part-time. The nutritionist will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, including those with dysphagia, malnutrition, and enteral nutrition. We also offer the possibility of working remotely with external clients, including nephrology, hematology, and gastroenterology.

We provide clinical supervision by an experienced team to ensure a smooth integration. Several improvement projects are underway to expand and modernize the hospital.

Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' nutritional needs, including biochemical, anthropometric, and psychosocial parameters, to determine a nutritional impression;
  • Determine the nutritional treatment plan, including the appropriate feeding route, when an individual prescription indicates that nutrition is a determining factor in the treatment of the disease;
  • Monitor the nutritional status of individuals whose treatment plan has been determined and adjust it accordingly;
  • Collaborate with food service teams and provide guidance as needed;
  • Ensure continuity of services by directing patients to appropriate resources based on their condition and situation;
  • Transmit necessary information to users, families, team members, and, if necessary, external organizations;
  • Actively participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to the continuous flow of useful information to achieve the intervention with the user;
  • May be required to organize and conduct nutrition training for a group of clients, interveners, or healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Hold a terminal university degree in dietetics or nutrition;
  • Be a member of the Order of Professional Dietitians of Quebec;
  • Have experience working with hospitalized clients (an asset);
  • Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Microsoft Outlook;
  • Have a basic to intermediate level of proficiency in internal software (Eclinibase/eGap, Cristal net, WinVision, SoftLab).
