Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Railway Suppliers in Regina, SK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify compliance with our purchasing and payables procedures.
- Match valid purchase orders to supplier invoices and post them into our payable system.
- Respond to and assist with vendor inquiries.
- Reconcile vendor statements.
- Prepare and compile cheques.
- Manage multiple divisions and a high volume of supplier invoices.
- Filing and record-keeping.
The successful candidate will possess strong Accounts Payable skills, solid organizational and time management skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Previous Accounts Payable experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset. Basic accounting knowledge, experience with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work in a team environment are required. Working knowledge of Provincial and Federal sales tax rules is an asset.
This is a permanent, full-time position located in our Regina head office.
