Job Overview:

Head of Procurement at Paraffin Store Limited is a key position within our organization, located in Mississauga, ON, Canada. We are seeking candidates who possess a Bachelor's Degree to join our dynamic team.

Primary Duties
  • Develop and sustain relationships with suppliers
  • Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained
  • Negotiate pricing, discounts, credit terms, and shipping arrangements with vendors
  • Assess the needs of the organization and determine the quantity and type of products to procure
  • Select and acquire products for resale
  • Prepare financial plans and cost projections
  • Organize and oversee inventory management
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 5-10 individuals
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in database software
  • Skilled in spreadsheet applications
  • Experienced with internet tools
  • Familiar with MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word
  • Knowledgeable in SAP (FI/CO/HR/MM/OT SD)
  • Experienced with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
  • Proficient in IBM SPSS
