About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team at JIO PRINTS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and controlling budget and expenditures, as well as overseeing the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Inventory Management
    • Plan, develop, and implement purchasing policies and procedures to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement processes.
    • Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform procurement decisions.
    • Manage contracts and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible terms.
  • Team Leadership and Management
    • Lead a team of procurement specialists and provide guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Business Development and Relationship Building
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on procurement performance and trends.
    • Analyze data and information to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and information to inform business decisions.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

    • 35 hours per week.
