About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver Supervisor to join our team at Ezi Movers Trucking Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate the activities of our drivers, including scheduling, route planning, and dispatching.
  • Train and Develop our drivers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Manage and Maintain our fleet of vehicles, including regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Ensure Compliance with all relevant regulations, including health and safety, transportation, and environmental laws.
  • Coordinate and Schedule activities with other departments, including customer service, sales, and logistics.
  • Recommend Personnel Actions to management, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinate Repairs and Rentals of vehicles and equipment as needed.
  • Requisition and Order materials, equipment, and supplies as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in a supervisory or management role in the transportation industry is an asset.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 32 to 35 hours per week.
