Retail Sales Manager Job Description

At Ontario Corp, we are seeking a highly skilled Retail Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing staff, assigning duties, and determining merchandise and services to be sold.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and motivate a team of sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Determine the most effective sales strategies and tactics to drive business growth and increase revenue.
  • Implement and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote products and services.
  • Plan and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed business decisions.
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in sales or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:

The Retail Sales Manager will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a high level of customer interaction. The successful candidate will be able to work in a standing position for extended periods and be able to lift heavy loads.
