About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Robin's Donuts. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our coffee shop, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food and beverage products meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles.

Estimate and Manage Inventory

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.

Ensure Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action if necessary to prevent any issues from arising.

Prepare Budgets and Reports

Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Address Customer Complaints

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and take steps to resolve any issues promptly.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Work Environment

Our coffee shop is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet customer demand.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for a team player with excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, and initiative. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong attention to detail.

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role is required.
