Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at MANITOBA INC O/A DAIRY QUEEN GRILL & CHILL GIMLI. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food safety and quality standards are met.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management decisions.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak periods.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service or hospitality environment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Working Conditions:
  • 30-40 hours per week.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
