Under the guidance of the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Consultant delivers comprehensive support across all facets of Human Resources and Organizational Development, enhancing the overall employee experience. This role necessitates a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic, people-oriented environment.
The HR Consultant will be instrumental in establishing productive relationships with managers, colleagues, and staff. As a key figure during new employee orientations, they will embody the organization's values, setting a positive tone for the employee experience and ultimately influencing patient care.
This position requires an innovative mindset, with the ability to assess and improve existing processes. The ideal candidate will generate impactful ideas that foster a workplace where employees and teams can excel.
Employment Requirements:
Education/Experience:
- Post-secondary education in a Human Resources discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience within a Human Resources team.
- Experience with computerized human resources/payroll systems and reporting software is preferred.
Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient in keyboarding and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as email and calendar management.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, critical thinking, and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, verbal, and written communication abilities.
- Capacity to work independently in a confidential environment.
- Proactive problem-solving skills.
- Aptitude for managing multiple tasks and prioritizing in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from leadership and staff.
Assets:
- Bilingual communication skills (French/English) are advantageous.
- Experience with HRIS and data analytics.
Salary Range: $38.815 to $45.664
