The Role
As the Chief People, Culture and Diversity Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping BCEHS's future success by fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment. Reporting to the Chief Ambulance Officer and Executive Vice President, you will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the organization's strategic people plan, ensuring alignment with BCEHS's overall goals and objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, health and wellness, and employee relations.
- Champion a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering a workplace where all employees feel valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their best work.
- Collaborate closely with the People and Culture department within PHSA (Provincial Health Services Authority) and partners across BCEHS, PHSA, and HEABC (Health Employers Association of BC).
- Manage labor relations and collective bargaining in a unionized environment, ensuring fair and equitable treatment for all employees.
