The successful candidate will assist in progressing patients with acute and complex medical conditions under the supervision of the therapists.
Key Responsibilities- Support occupational therapists and physiotherapists in the delivery of patient care
- Assist in the progression of patients with acute and complex medical conditions
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient-centered care
- Provide excellent patient care skills with medical, surgical, neurological, and geriatric caseloads
- Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and a commitment to teamwork
The ideal candidate will possess a graduate certificate in occupational therapy and physiotherapy assistance, with at least one year of experience in an acute care setting. Excellent communication skills, a patient-centered approach, and a commitment to teamwork are essential.
