YVR Base Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced YVR Base Manager to join our team at KF Aerospace. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our Vancouver facility, ensuring that all aircraft maintenance and inspection activities are carried out in accordance with company schedules and directives.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure safe work practices and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage and supervise staff at the YVR Base, including line maintenance operations, heavy maintenance operations, materials management, and facilities
- Coordinate planned maintenance for all aircraft at YVR and monitor task progression
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our ERP system
- Assist the planning department with task planning and develop risk reduction plans
- Participate in facility maintenance and upgrades, and assess tooling requirements
- Prepare for audits and respond to audit results
- Ensure care and custody of equipment, tools, and publications
- Ensure facility housekeeping and identify, initiate, recommend, or provide solutions to quality problems
- Valid Transport Canada A.M.E. Type "M" license
- Experience working on or endorsed on B737, B757, ATR, or CV580 aircraft
- A minimum of 7 years of aviation maintenance experience
- Proven track record of effective leadership and managerial skills in the aviation industry
- Competitive salary range: $93,154.60 to $122,265.41 plus additional $4/hr base premium
