About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Skyway Brands YVR Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff

Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting our high standards for quality and service.

Train and Develop Staff

Train our food service staff in their job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are meeting our expectations.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Estimate and manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our customers' needs.

Lead by Example

Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in customer service and food quality, and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.

Communicate Effectively

Communicate effectively with our customers, staff, and management team, ensuring that we are meeting our customers' needs and exceeding their expectations.

Maintain Records and Reports

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role is required.

Language

Fluency in English is required.

Work Schedule

30 hours per week is the typical work schedule for this role.
