The Physiotherapy role involves addressing the assessment and reassessment requirements of a variable caseload. Flexible hours make this position compatible with another part-time role. Assessments are arranged directly with clients, and the Physiotherapist is responsible for delegating and supervising treatments to a Physiotherapy Assistant when suitable. This is a chance to collaborate with an organization that has been a leader for over 30 years, benefiting from mentorship with clinical practice leads who possess over a decade of professional experience, along with an attractive remuneration package.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a professional representative for Lifemark Seniors Wellness by cultivating strong relationships with essential stakeholders, including contacts at various community sites, residents, and all participants. Travel to designated retirement facilities to provide physiotherapy services. Determine work schedules based on the volume of referrals and the number of physiotherapy treatments delivered. Adhere to the professional Rules of Conduct as established by the College of Physiotherapists.Qualifications:
Graduation from a recognized university Physiotherapy degree program. Registration with the Provincial College of Physiotherapists. Experience in long-term care or a similar seniors' care environment is preferred.
