Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Director of Data Management to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the Demand Planning function and playing a critical role in the Gay Lea Foods Co-operative Sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Demand Planning function and drive the overall Demand Review step of the Integrated Business Planning process.
  • Develop and communicate KPIs to ensure continuous improvement against key metrics and Integrated Business Planning expectations.
  • Oversee the creation, management, and communication of the demand plan and impact of key demand drivers to internal stakeholders.
  • Represent Demand Planning in other steps of the Integrated Business Planning process as needed.
  • Manage Risks and Opportunities to the demand plan, including ensuring risks and opportunities are shared appropriately and driving follow-up actions and resolution of open issues.
Requirements
  • Strong planning and analytical skills coupled with commercial and/or planning experience.
  • Experience in the food industry an asset.
  • Strong project management, creative problem-solving, conceptual thinking, identifying future trends, and process improvement.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to inspire and influence others through storytelling and executive presence.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization structure is an asset.
