Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Director to lead our Group Benefits technology strategy and implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and driving technology solutions that enable our Group Benefits customers to deliver innovative digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of technology professionals to develop and implement technology strategies that align with Group Benefits business goals.
  • Collaborate with Group Benefits Product Partners and Directors of Engineering to develop and implement technology solutions that drive business growth.
  • Align technology strategy, plans, and implementation with Group Benefits business goals.
  • Identify and exploit internal best practices to improve technology assets and support digital growth strategy.
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of technology professionals to enable the development, delivery, and operation of a premier technology strategy.
  • Coordinate all aspects of technology for the Group Benefits unit, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
  • Partner closely with key risk customers to coordinate work efforts and ensure solutions meet industry risk practices.
  • Establish operating and investment budgets within the respective work area consistent with short and long-term Group Benefits financial goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, management of information systems, or equivalent.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels with technical and non-technical customers.
  • Confident presentation and facilitation skills, strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver actionable recommendations based on analysis.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary range: $100,000 - $200,000 CAD.
